THE PEOPLE AND COMPANIONS BEHIND 3DW
Family & Friends
The family, friends, and four-legged partners who inspire the work, shape the journey, and remind us what craftsmanship is really about.
Every creation at 3 Dogs Woodworking begins with inspiration, and that inspiration comes from the people and companions who surround us. This page is dedicated to the family who serves as our muse, the friends who have supported and shaped our journey, and the four-legged family members who have inspired the heart behind everything we do—including Lokki, Fritz, and Stevie.
While their names may be on our sign, their impact goes far beyond a logo. They are our constant companions, our shop supervisors, and a daily reminder that craftsmanship is about more than wood—it is about connection, memories, and the stories we share with those who matter most.
From family traditions and friendships to quiet moments spent creating alongside our dogs, every piece we build carries a little of the people and companions who inspire us.
THE WEST COAST DIVISION
Halen, Kim, Kairi, Finley, Luna, Coca and Hash Browns
Creativity, Craftsmanship & The Next Generation

The 3 Dogs Woodworking family extends far beyond the walls of our New Hampshire shop. On the West Coast, my son Halen, a NDT Radiographic Inspector, and his family represent another branch of the creativity, craftsmanship, and curiosity that define 3DW.
While woodworking remains at the heart of 3 Dogs Woodworking, the spirit of making has always extended beyond a single material or craft. Halen has always enjoyed building, creating, and solving problems. Together, we have explored different creative projects, including refinishing guitars and building one from the ground up. His technical knowledge—including wiring, electronics, and luthier setup—has helped bring those projects to life. More importantly, Halen is my son, and he and his family will always be a part of the 3 Dogs Woodworking story.
Kim brings her own unique creativity and artistic vision to their family. A talented artist in her own right, she creates beautiful handmade ornaments and continues to pursue her own artistic journey. Her attention to detail and passion for creating meaningful pieces reflect the same values that inspire makers everywhere: turning ideas into something real.
When Halen and Kim began their journey together, Kim brought three unforgettable personalities into the family: Luna, Nacho, and Paco—three lovable Chihuahuas who quickly became part of the pack. While Nacho and Paco have since crossed the rainbow bridge, their memories and the love they brought remain an important part of their family’s story.
Brownie later joined their family, a beautiful Rottweiler whose presence left an unforgettable mark. Unfortunately, her time with them was far too short. Brownie developed splenic cancer, and despite the heartbreak that came with her diagnosis, the love and care surrounding her never wavered. The bond they shared and the memories she created continue to hold a special place in their hearts.
Then came Coca and Hash Browns—a pair of Red Doberman sisters who arrived a couple of months after Brownie’s passing, bringing new energy and happiness to their family. In a moment that felt almost meant to be, they were born just one day before Brownie was laid to rest. Their arrival marked the beginning of a new chapter while honoring the love and memories Brownie left behind. Like all the dogs who came before them, Coca and Hash Browns are more than pets—they are family.
The next generation of this creative family is already making its mark. Kairi carries a natural entrepreneurial and artistic spirit. Her determination and work ethic were evident early on through her own lemonade stand, showing the same initiative and pride that every maker understands. She continues to explore her creativity through crochet and shares in the responsibility of training Coca and Hash Browns with Halen, learning patience, consistency, and leadership along the way.
Finley represents the future of creativity and technology. At a young age, he is already exploring coding and creating his own games, turning ideas into something interactive and real. His curiosity, imagination, and willingness to learn are reminders that creativity is not limited to a workshop—sometimes it starts with a keyboard, an idea, and the drive to bring it to life.

Create, learn, build, and share the journey with the ones who matter most.
A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES
Hillary, Logan, Dexter and Cobie
Creativity, Connection & A Lifetime of Memories

Long before 3 Dogs Woodworking was an idea, Hillary was part of my creative journey. From a young age, she was my shadow—always nearby, always curious, and often right beside me in the kitchen. Some of my favorite memories are the times we spent cooking together, learning, experimenting, and creating something that brought people together.
As she grew, Hillary developed her own artistic voice. Her creativity expanded into painting and other artistic pursuits, showing the same appreciation for detail, expression, and craftsmanship that has always been at the heart of creating.
Today, Hillary is a nurse by trade, but continues to be an important part of the 3 Dogs Woodworking story. Her perspective, honesty, and creativity help shape new ideas and designs, offering the kind of feedback that only someone who understands both the maker and the person receiving the creation can provide.
Alongside her husband Logan and pups Dexter and Cobie, Hillary represents another branch of the 3DW family—one built on creativity, family, and the simple joy of making something meaningful. Whether it is a handcrafted piece of wood, a recipe shared around a table, or a new artistic idea brought to life, the common thread has always been connection.

Every branch of the family adds something meaningful to the 3DW story.
