Beyond the Wood
It started with onesies for Christy’s new granddaughter—playful, personalized, and made with love. What began as a small, heartfelt gift quickly grew into something bigger. Christy soon came back with a new idea: outfitting her daughter’s softball team with custom hoodies.
The team already knew exactly what they wanted. They had designed the layouts themselves—names, numbers, and graphics ready to go. Christy provided the blank hoodies, and I brought their vision to life through custom vinyl application for each player. Every detail matched their original design, turning a shared dream into wearable reality.
The original quote Christy received from a local shop was more than the girls could afford. Making this project accessible—without compromising quality—was part of what made it meaningful. And while Mom never expected one, she ended up with her own jersey too—a quiet surprise from the shop that helped make it all happen.
This build is a reminder that whether we’re working with wood, vinyl, fabric, or heart—it’s all part of the craft.
